Company Runs 2025: Pepperl+Fuchs participated in various running events.

Running brings people together

Whether at the BAUHAUS company run in Mannheim or at other running events: In May and July, employees from various Pepperl+Fuchs locations in Germany took part in company runs and showed how strong they are in a team – on the track and beyond.

When colleagues lace up their running shoes together, it creates more than just athletic ambition: it builds team spirit, motivation – and unforgettable experiences. Two team from the Pepperl+Fuchs locations in Amberg and Bühl took part in regional company runs in May and showed great energy and joy. On May 10, an eleven-member team from Pepperl+Fuchs in Amberg participated in the Amberg-Sulzbach rural circuit – a relay competition with eleven stages over a total distance of around 58 kilometers. The individual distances varied between three and eight kilometers.

At eight o’clock in the morning, the starting signal was given in Kreuth. All participants reached the finish line in Schwend and were warmly welcomed. Together, they mastered the stages – with commitment, energy, and mutual support. The time until the award ceremony was bridged with a cozy get-together with coffee and sweet snacks. Even though the ” Stoppelhopser” didn’t make it into the top rankings, the run was a huge success in terms of teamwork.

Sports connects

Four days later, on May 14, the AOK company run took place in Bühl under the initiative “Run for ALL”. Around 900 participants took part in the 5.5 km circuit, including 12 employees from Pepperl+Fuchs in Bühl. The team spirit was clearly noticeable. With summer-like weather, cheering calls, applause, and good humor, an employee took 28th place as the fastest runner from Pepperl+Fuchs. In the ranking of the largest participating team, it took 15th place out of a total of 58 teams. The run was followed by an after-run party, which provided a great atmosphere with interactive program items and music. The local athletic association Turnverein Bühl provided snacks and drinks. This allowed the team to end the evening together with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Running fun despite thunderstorms

On July 16, a 16-member team from the Pepperl+Fuchs subsidiary ECOM Instruments GmbH in Assamstadt successfully participated in the 7th Igersheimer company run. Since April, colleagues had been meeting regularly for training. Due to a thunderstorm, the start of the main run was postponed to 9:00 p.m., with the Nordic walkers started at 9:25 p.m. – but the good mood remained undampened. After the run, the evening concluded with a barbecue enjoyed by all. Everyone brought their own meat or veggies to toss on the grill, along with side dishes.

The company runs were not only about sporting challenges, but above all about moments of togetherness and laughter.
